      You, your students and your school can participate in a variety of ways. 
      1- Planting the seeds of BRASSICA RAPA 
      2- Weeping other types of seeds 
      3- Participating in observations and discussions, without planting seeds.

      We will plant seeds and monitor the growth, taking measurements of height, number of buds, flowers, etc. and we will create tables and discuss the influences on the growth of these plants.

      We will follow some procedures during the project, but you can adapt these procedures and activities according to the possibilities and needs of your school.

      Plant one of the suggested seeds and monitor the growth, creating tables with the observed data, present this data in MOODLE, compare, discuss and propose new discussions about the results 

       
      Participate without planting - see the results of the schools that planted - discuss and propose new discussions about the results

  • THE PROJECT

    The Fast Plants Project aims to research elementary and high school students and teachers (from the fifth grade onwards) for basic and advanced studies in biology and genetics, encouraging collaborative and group work. Different, in different places and countries, can carry out scientific experiments with their students, which allowed them to observe phenomena, compare and study their data, in relation to the data of the other participants. In just over a month, students can learn about and study a complete cycle of a mustard-type plant (BRASSICA-RAPA), from planting to the recovery of new seeds.
