The general
introduction to
Kidlink is written in English. We
ask language area teams to translate these web pages into their languages.
To help translate a page, please contact your desired
Language area management, or
our Translation Team.
Announcements
about projects or new developments within
Kidlink are distributed through our
announcement lists, or
Kidleader lists (where announcement
lists are uavailable). English is used as the "middle-man" in the process.
We need translators from/to your language to make this work. Contact:
Language area management, or
our Translation Team.
The procedure is as follows:
-
[1] An announcement written in a non-English language is distributed
through this language area's announcement server.
[2] An English language abstract plus the original untranslated text is sent
to the English language announcement list.
-
Announcements appearing on the English language announcement list
are considered for translation and redistribution by the language area managers,
or volunteers allocated this task. Selected messages are translated, and
then posted on their announcement lists.

Each
Kidlink area maintains
its own set of web pages. Here, it presents its offerings, key support people,
plans, student contributions, etc. Contact:
Language area management, activity
management within these areas, our
staff management, or our
Translation Team..
Translation needs
include:
-
Web pages presenting projects or activities that will be open for
participation in several languages.
-
Web pages presenting exemplary student contributions, or teacher good
practices - to share these with other language areas.
On each mailing list, or interactive channel, there are occasionally
being posted messages with contents likely to be of interest for users throughout
Kidlink. Translations of these messages to English.
