URUGUAY - ESTADOS UNIDOS
Estudiantes del Colegio Nacional José Pedro Varela en
Montevideo, Uruguay en la América del Sur y de la Secundaria Gorton en Yonkers, Nueva
York en los Estados Unidos colaboraron para lanzar este sitio Web. Los cuentos y la
poesía son escritos por alumnos uruguayos y traducidos por alumnos de Yonkers.
Por medio de este proyecto Internet niños, divididos por un mar
y un continente, han llegado a conocerse a través de la literatura. Este intercambio se
realizó a través del PROYECTO KIDLINK, dentro del marco del Proyecto: Creando cuentos,
historias y poemas. Coordinado por Sonia Fernández y Beverlyn Ferris en el año 1996.
Students from the José Pedro Varela Nacional School in
Montevideo, Uruguay in South America and Gorton High School in Yonkers, New York in the
United States worked together to create this Web site. The short stories and poetry are
written by Uruguayan students and translated by students in Yonkers.
By means of this Internet project, children, divided by a sea
and an ocean, have used literature to gain a better understanding of each other.
This cultural exchange is a part of the KIDLINK PROJECT:
Creating stories, tales and poetry. It was coordinated by Sonia Fernández of Uruguay and
Beverlyn Ferris of the United States in 1996.
