I think kid link is really cool because you can talk to other people .

2. find out how there culture is
3. make friends

When I first joined KIDLINK back in 1993, I was a 5th grade teacher who had just gotten her online account looking for an organization online that I could work into my curriculum. KIDLINK was 100% wonderful to fulfill this need, but as my class and I continued participating throughout that first year, we found that it was not just an organization for kids. KIDLINK is a family, an international family of individuals interested in creating a global community! I have since gone on to volunteer my time to help in many areas of KIDLINK (I now manage KIDCAFE in English), and I no longer am teaching KIDLINK aged kids, but the contacts and friends that I have made through KIDLINK are strong and will be long-lasting ones. Friends that I have made around the world through KIDLINK are now part of my extended family and will remain to be so! What a wonderful, warm online community this is! Thanks, Odd de Presno, your time and dedication, and the time and dedication of all the KIDLINK volunteers has helped to make this a wonderful place to be!
