KHouse Operations Workshop

audience: The
KHouse Manager, its
Technical Support person (with Internet experience), its Pedagogical Support
(psycho pedagogy, pedagogy, or full license to teach), and its Psycho Social
Support (psychology, social services, phonoaudiology or related area).
Optionally, the workshop may include regular volunteer
helpers.
Length: 4 days. Contents: Use of equipment, and Kidlink. Work organization. Recruiting and management of volunteer helpers. Networking with other KHouses. Practical tricks of the trade. Introduction to making web pages. (The Who-Am-I? workshop will be done separately.) Benefits to attendees: As a result of the workshop, the KHouse staff will be able to use Kidlink's support and services from their local site, know efficient methods of recruiting and management of volunteers, and make simple web pages. Handouts: One page with links to relevant Kidlink resources. |
