What Parents Say About Who-Am-I?

Gisele Theriault, Canada , mother of Gabrielle (11), said in Kidforum-Coord :

Although I had noticed lesson plans and skimmed them, I just wanted to get signed up. I am a parent not a teacher, so I didn't study the lesson plan before sitting down with my daughter to answer the four Kidlink questions.

When I first read them I didn't see what they would generate. I was both pleased and surprised at my daughter's answers. Some of what she actually replied with, but also with the discussion it generated between us.

We often discuss issues at home generated by books or television programs, but these were different. My daughter surprised me with what came to the forefront of her mind.

I saved her answers, and I think someday I will ask her the questions again and see what comes out.

I do think Kidlink can be a valuable resource for parents looking for quality interaction on the web for their children.
