Contents: Who and what is Kidlink? Four registration questions about life - maybe the world's oldest active educational Internet project (daily since 1990). Multi-lingual Who-Am-I?: 389 suggested questions and 244 activities leading to more knowledge of self, place of residence, rights, friends, family, roots. Curriculum. Parent and local community involvement. Social networks of concerned adults. Educational context.
Audience: Teachers, ICT Facilitators, headmasters, teacher trainers, inspectors, educations administrators, etc.
Audience size: As presentation: any. As seminar, limited to availability of Internet stations.
Length: As presentation, 45 minutes.
As seminar: 3 - 6 hours, divided into 45 minute sessions. Teachers claim 3 hours is too short. As 6 hour seminar, half the time in a computer lab, one Internet station per participant, technology facilitators supporting participants.
Benefits to attendees: Teachers will receive links and motivation to start international collaboration on educational projects.
