The Magic of Who-Am-I?

How?

Allusive Poetry -- An athlete by Vanessa (15) from United States , 2005

Create web pages with the work that each student contributes to each module of Who-Am-I? This gives students a second opportunity to view the thoughts of their peers, the first being the initial message sent to the Who-Am-I? list with a student's work.

Let them connect to as many schools and students as possible through KidCom, Kidspace, etc. This is very important. The topics of discussion should be the various program modules.

Encourage PowerPoint and other multimedia presentations related to Who-Am-I? Display them in KidSpace, on the Kidlink Web, or elsewhere. If possible, include electronic or digital class/and or school portraits. Some schools may prefer to create digital portraits which they could exchange using snail mail. By a portrait, we mean a visual, written, and/or oral presentation which gives one insight into the makeup of a school or class. Those schools who have access to a camcorder could exchange High8, Digital8 or VHS tapes. This would be one way to increase the use of multimedia in your kids global conversation.
