Kidlink RESPONSE SEARCHER

Kidlink has rich databases with valuable information you may use throughout the curriculum with your students. They are very easy to use:

  1. Go to the RESPONSE SEARCHER
  2. Type the information you want the SEARCHER to find for you in the space provided in "Search for".
  3. In "Since" type the year you want to start searching. Ex: 1994 [Click Submit]
  4. You will get a list of documents containing that information.

Real-Life Stories

  • In Brazil KHouses sometimes they have illiterate students with very little or none writing skills. Students are encouraged to use drawings to describe their answers to the 4 questions. See the answers from Daiana, Elisabete and Thays.
  • In Puerto Rico, teacher Edgardo Colón uses the first module to train his students on how to make a presentation in Power Point. Students practice oratory skills by doing a public presentation. Afterward they learn how to build a web page about themselves using the information gathered.
  • Look at some selected dialogue from the teacher to the students in the "virtual classroom"

If you have ideas that you want to share on how to use the Kidlink 4 questions in your classroom, please send them to Epi Sepulveda.
