Kidlink Workshop For Kids
 Through 15 Years Of Age

Each module has 3 hours. After a 30 minute
 introduction, the kids will be online to the net in
 a computer lab. One participant per workstation.

Module 1

Introduction: Getting friends in other countries. What separates friends from acquaintances? How can the four registration questions help? How to protect your privacy?
Tour: What other kids are doing in Kidlink. Answering the four questions, and updating KidPages.

Module 2 Introduction: Finding and reviewing KidPages of kids who seem interesting.
Tour: Using the search service to find others. Limiting searches by country, matching interests and dreams for the future, and narrowing findings by date. Sending KidMails to particularly interesting kids.
Module 3

Introduction: KidCom and KidSpace. Netiquette. Making appointments ( time zones and GMT offsets).
Tour: Chat in KidCom's KidCafes. Selected KidSpace areas. Help resources.

Module 4 Introduction: Join as a helper: to meet interesting people; learn about computers and the Internet; and help make Kidlink a more interesting place.
Tour: Meet Robbert, Rodrigo, Tryggvi, and others. What are your options? How does it work?
Module 5 Introduction: My Future Job, Making Our World Better, and  Who-Am-I?
Guided tour: Contents. Opportunities. Planning. Post views, dreams, and opinions, and make comments to what others say.
