Audience size: Optimally, limited to one participant per Internet workstation in a computer lab, with technology facilitators serving teachers in their usual way.

Length: 6 hours for teachers. One hour extra for technology facilitators.

Benefits to attendees:

As a result of the workshop, teachers will:
• examine and understand KidSpace;
• see methods if integration of Internet technologies into the their curricula; acquire new strategies for implementing Internet communications in to their classrooms;
• get a presentation of the KidSpace to give parents; and
• build a network of support people and resources for use with KidSpace.

In addition, facilitators will:
• learn to deliver teacher workshops in their schools; enable more schools to use KidSpace at low cost;
• work side-by-side with teachers;
• have resources available for teachers who use the KidSpace;
• have a 15 minute presentation about KidSpace to show school administrators.
