International Teacher Conference

The conference is a part of THE BRIDGE, a program to improve relationships between Norwegians and the other groups living in Norway. As a measure against violence, mobbing, and racism.

Two major educational offerings dominate the program: Who-Am-I? and I have a dream.

THE BRIDGE also has :

  • a program for Norwegian refugee camps
  • a program for Norwegian immigrant communities
  • translations of Who-Am-I? to Norwegian minority languages
  • activities to include other support groups in the attitude generating work
    ( parents, mental health personnel, senior citizens, hospitals, museums, libraries, and other meeting places for kids and youth)
  • cultural activities to build bridges

Kidlink is a global, non-commercial, virtual organization working to strengthen kids and youth through free educational programs.. To help them get friends and build inter-personal networks with peers around the world.
1st Prize in the Global Junior Challenge (Italy, November 2000). Recommended in the US Department of Education's "Teacher's Guide to International Collaboration on the Internet." On the Internet since 1990.
