What It Takes To Open A KHouse?

  • A pedagogical program based on Kidlink's offerings
  • Human Resources
    • Technical Support (with Internet experience)
    • Pedagogical Support (psycho pedagogy, pedagogy, or full license to teach)
    • Psycho Social Support (psychology, social services, phonoaudiology or related area)
    • A guard
    • Recommended: Volunteer assistance by parents, aunts and uncles, and senior citizens
  • A computer laboratory or an Internet café for the program with the necessary number of computers
    • 486's (or better) preferably linked to each other and to the Internet
    • One station for exclusive use of the Khouse staff
    • One color bubble jet printer.
    • One electronic camera
  • Minimum KHouse capacity:
    • Two classes of children, who are able to write and read.
    • Available at least two hours/week per class.
    • Two kids per computer (maximum three).
  • Kidlink approval
