| Hello Kidlink has no forum for teachers integrated in its site, so the Kidlink Association Board has decided to use a private and moderated Google Group instead. The Board is using Google Group for internal dialog and we think it is perfect for this purpose. A cooperation between teachers and youth leaders is key for success with classroom projects with youth. When you want to run a project, it is important you talk with other Kidlink leaders to find more schools for your project and then coordinate together activities and time. Write to the Kidlink leader community by writing to kidlink@googlegroups.com. Put an appropriate subject to the email (eg the project name) and tell about your plans. Our first goal is to have all teachers registered in 2009, now more than 400 in this group. Depending on the success of this group, will we later on add all 1300 adults actually registered in the project. If you are used to Google groups, the address of the group is http://groups.google.se/group/kidlink. You need a Google account for that. There you will find old emails you can read and reply to. You will get at most one email per day from this group. All emails are moderated and only project related content is allowed. To avoid email flooding we avoid single meaning "chatlike" emails. All emails from Kidlink are marked with the subject [Kidlink Project]. You may want to login to http://groups.google.se/group/kidlink/subscribe and change your email receiving options If you do not want to be registered anymore in Kidlink, send an empty email to kidlink+unsubscribe@googlegroups.com. We will then delete your account in Kidlink and stop all announcements to your email. I hope you will find this tool useful for your classroom work.
