KidMail lets you send messages to other Kidlink participants. Kids can send to kids, and adults can send to adults.
You will be alerted by e-mail when new KidMail arrives. To read mail, log in, and click "KidMail" at the top of the page.
If mail arrives when you are in KidCom,the "Show KidMail" button will turn red. Click at "Show KidMail", the button becomes "Send KidMail Message", and a list of waiting messages in (your Inbox) will appear in the upper right corner of your screen.(If you cannot see the list, click at "Normal Document View" at the bottom of your screen.)
Click at one KidMail Subject to read the message.
When reading a KidMail, click at "Reply" to reply to the person who wrote you, at "Reply all" if there are others on the From line that should also receive a copy, at "Forward" to send a copy to another person", at"Delete" to move the message to Trash (After some time, it will disappear there), or at "Send by e-mail" to send it to the Internet e-mail account that you have given us.
When you select Reply or New Kidmail Message, an address book will pop up to the right. Click ona nickname in the address book to add to your list of recipients. Click"?" for more information about the person, and "x" to remove the person from your address book.
Enter a name by "Search user:" (for example "Alexandra"), click Search. Click at nicknames you find to let them receive your KidMail. Click the "A" by names to add to the address book.
If in KidCom, click at "Show documents" to get back to the discussion area if you are using KidMail in KidCom . |
