PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project provides students with an opportunity to learn about and experience differences and similarities of cultures, traditions, through proverbs or idiomatic expressions within and across a variety of cultures.

Every language has different and fun Idiomatic speech and often it doesn't mean what it says literally.
Sometimes the same idiomatic expression can be translated in different languages and it keeps the same meaning; for some others, indeed, the translation is funny and without meaning. There may be another idiomatic expression typical of that language to be used in that situation.

PURPOSE

  • Improve the understanding of other cultures and habits and value them
  • Collaborate with global peers in a global project
  • Build an international relationship with students from around the world
