You were the first to conclude the D/D Project. Your portraits are all over the online descriptions. Probably will they not be very similar, but it is not easy to draw a portrait based only on the written description especially if you have not been very precise in explaining the details of your face. But this is not important. Instead it was important to know new friends and talk with them. DD project pages.
Registration is still open and active project work is now in progress for the Moon Over Us: Faces and Phases project.
The project promotes the observations of the Moon by students on different continents. On the first day, students take a survey. Durning the project, students learn all about the phases of the moon and how the face of the moon differs in the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere. Each evening students observe and sketch or take pictures of the moon beginning April 7, when the moon is full, and ending May 14 Then students create webpages with their observations about the changes each day. On the Kidspace home page it is really great to see the world, scrolling comments and the list of who is online! Especially, it is great to be able to click on the name to see who the person is and on their page to see what they are working on. Thank you for doing this!

Thank you Gaia for your very positive words. We dedicate hundreds of hours for free, for something we believe in, a constructive and peaceful dialog between youth from the whole world. We need, now and then to read comments like yours, as it is like fuel for us volunteers, that help us to do more. About "Kid Center".
