Kids and Changing Classes

Every year, it's the same thing. A new class (or classes) a new teacher, and new people.
Often, you have to make new friends all over again, especially when changing schools- like
the transition from Elementary to Middle, and from Middle to High School. One of our reporters
recently interviewed kids around Kidlink to see how they felt about this.

KelseyMur: What was your favorite grade?
KirstenB: 5th grade

KelseyMur: How did you feel when you had to leave that class? KirstenB: I felt sad because I was leaving all of my friends.

Kelsey: What do you mostly remember about 5th grade?
KirstenB: My teachers

Author's Opinion:  I mostly remember 4th and how much fun I had. I felt so sad because some of my friends would be gone. It was the best because it turned out my very best friends were in the same class next year. I got a chance to make new friends and most  all those new friends became my best friends. I have to leave the school this year and I am devastated, but we still keep in touch.

Conclusion:  My conclusion is that when most kids leave a class or school they're unhappy leaving, they'd rather stay with the same classmates and teachers.
