‘Have a heart, help the Homeless’

Homeless Children International

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
Luke 18:16

Homeless Children International is a Christian organization committed to helping homeless children around the world to find a home. Pay a visit on http://www.homelesskids.org/

All around the world, there are homeless children that
need our help, poor families that are dying of hunger
or have to send their children away to work or live so
they can have a better life. Children and families in the
U.K, U.S.A and other well off countries, families are
taught to be thankful that they aren’t suffering from
Illnesses or dying from starvation, as many around this
world are.

Charities like:

NSPCC- National Society for Protection of Cruelty to Children. Help to put a stop to cruelty to children. They take homeless children from our streets and find then a home, be it with a kind loving family, or in a big block of apartments with other, older children, or a children’s home, but everywhere they go, they are loved by someone. People donate money to keep their ‘homes’ up and running around the world.

Compassion- Compassion is another Christian charity where as you sponsor a child, you send roughly £350, $630.70($US), 518.336 Euro, $829.770 ($Can) A year to sponsor a child from anywhere in the world.

 How Kidlink helps:

Kidlink helps to keep kids off the street, motivate street kids to return to school, promote literacy, support kids through difficult times, and give them better control over their lives. Kidlink helps street kids in Brazil, Mexico, and Bolivia. Kidlink isn’t only a place to chat oh no, far from it, Kidlink empowers children to build global social and knowledge networks. Around Kidlink they are a number of Adults, Teachers and T-s/J-s (Moderators of Kidlink IRC) as well as children. There are children around this world without the things we have. Some sell things like postcards and posies of flowers to earn money to live.

So next time you are sitting down at your table with a hot meal your Mother/Father/Granny/Grandpa/Auntie/Uncle or even the staff at Pizza Hut had better  make sure you eat it. Billions of humans around this world are without food and water, they have no clean clothes and in some cases, even no homes. Make today important by giving an extra thought for those less fortunate than us.

I hope I have inspired you to take actions as we can all help be it great, small or even a prayer at night. God Bless.
