November: Kidlink's Food and Recipes collection, and a wonderful planning meeting in Italy .

October: A new art gallery infrastructure, Gallery2, is introduced. Click here to see how Nicolò, one of our young participants from Italy , moderated some of the action.. (in 2007, responsibility was given to another kid).

August: Kidlink gets a new computer center for its web pages .

May: Flavio, Wellington, Carlos, Karla, and Rafael from Brazil win prizes in the Kidlink 15 Years Anniversary Art Contest. Nevena from Yugoslavia want the 2nd prize.

March 20: Diana Alexandra Click to get email address. from Romania , our 10 year old web page illustrator, now has more than 200 works of art in her portfolio, which she moderates herself! Most of her pictures are created for Kidlink as illustrations. Some are visual ideas. Some are works done at a monthly workshop at a Bucharest Art Museum, some as schoolwork..others just for fun!!!

In May, Kidlinkers from many countries met in Arendal , Norway to celebrate, network, and plan. They came in from Brazil , Denmark , Iceland , United States , Puerto Rico , Italy , the Netherlands , India , Nepal , and Norway. Three Kidlinkers were awarded for their long term contributions to Kidlink: Patti Weeg (USA) - educational contents, Marisa Lucena (Brazil) - KHouses, and Bonnie Thurber (USA) - KidSpace. Each received an award in the form of a graphical print made by the Norwegian artist Mai-Bente Bonnevie. Photos from the event.
