Kidlink's New Computer Center
August 2005: The University of Cincinnati sponsors Kidlink with a "virtual server" for its web pages and many other computing needs. The virtual server does not exist as a separate physical machine; instead one very powerful machine is set up to look like several different machines. The first photo below shows the old system shelves with twelve separate servers. The three Kidlink machines are on the left end of the top shelf. All of these systems were replaced by the new virtual servers.
