This uuencoded .WKS spreadsheet file contains details of messages sent to
KIDLINK's RESPONSE mailing list in response to the four basic questions.
The data has been extracted from message logfiles. To get these log files,
send a request to LISTSERV@vm1.nodak.edu with the following commands in the
TEXT of your mail:
GET RESPONSE LOG9305C
GET RESPONSE LOG9305D
GET RESPONSE LOG9305E
For more details about the data in this spreadsheet, retrieve the COUNTING
file by adding the following command to the list above:
GET KIDLINK COUNTING
How to use the data
-------------------
[1] Cut out the data portion of this document, and uudecode it.
If you don't know how to uudecode the files, send a message to
LISTSERV@vm1.nodak.edu with the following commands in the TEXT
of the mail:
GET KIDART MASTER
Look under KIDART for files with uudecode information relevant for
your personal computer. (The file is KIDART MSDOS1 for MS-DOS PCs.)
Then get this file.
[2] The data has been compressed with the PKZip utility (version 2.04g)
before encoding. Use an uncompress program to turn it into readable
text. PKUNZIP version 2.00, and Info-ZIP's UNZIP50 patchlevel 1, or
later versions are good.
[3] Load the resulting .WKS file into your spreadsheet program. We have
tested it successfully with AsEasyAs, and Lotus 1-2-3.
It was created using: Microsoft Works.
