Disaster. Killing of approximately 100,000
people. In January, 2001, Gujarat (India)
was hit by a severe earthquake.
This
site is put up, to study the effect of this
disaster in the young, innocent, creative
minds.

Do
check the art, pictures created by the kids in the
days after the accident. And note the kids' thoughts
about the future. Slowly, when the situation calmed
down, the children received new parents, and schools
reopened. The drawings and texts created by children
at a local art school indicates this. Motives are
more happy, though they were made only weeks after
the fatal earthquake.
