Our volunteers keep
Kidlink alive. Therefore,
Kidlink
must foster a sense
of
community, and
focus on furthering personal networking at all
levels. We must:
-
Delegate as much responsibilities
as possible to language area organizations, almost like in a franchize
operation.
-
Build on educational projects developed
by own volunteers, among friends, rather than use outsiders' educational
projects.
-
Most major projects are designed
to promote the goal of "global networking for
youth."
-
Kidlink does not
link to other educational projects, though links may be made to useful external
resources in educational projects. Example:
Who-Am-I?
-
Kidlink does not
advertise outside educational projects
-
Let key volunteers meet once per
year to foster an atmosphere where they feel free to have arguments
and disagreements
