Fiscal year 2003

  • BlueCom AS , a Norwegian Internet provider, sponsors Kidlink's headquarters in Norway with free ASDL access to the Internet. The agreement has a duration of 3 years, starting February 21, 2003. Estimated value: NOK 40.000.

  • The University of Cincinnati, United States , provides a third network connection so that we can have three computers online to provide our services. The Northwestern University Collaboratory Project, Evanston, Illinois, United States, donated a new server, which is now located along with our other machines in the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services, at the University of Cincinnati.

  • Training and consulting in La Paz, Bolivia

  • The Kidlink Society's Annual Meeting elected Roopal Mehta (India ) as board member for Asia.

Fiscal year 2002

  • Kidlink Institute/Education did a Saami language KHouse pre-feasability study in north Norway , training and consulting in support of a new KHouse in Bolivia , and various other small consulting and support projects.

  • The Kidlink Society's Annual Meeting elected Lely Nunez Coronel (Uruguay ) as board member for Pacific, as the Society had no members in this area.

Fiscal year 2001

  • The World Bank Group supported the Kidlink Houses and Families in Brasil Project with USD 134,000 in 2001 (Project No: 349-990310). The project addresses the need for appropriate care of a large number of poor Brazilian children, as well as lack of attention to a significant portion of the senior Brazilian population.

  • The Norwegian Ministry of Education supported an international teacher training conference with NOK 200.00. Other sponsors of the event included: Telenor, Arendal næringsråd, Ericsson, Kredittkassen, Sparebanken Sør, Strømmestiftelsen, and Arendal kommune.

  • The Kidlink Society's Annual Meeting elected Oscar Becerra (Peru ) as board member for Peru, Haymee Perez Cogle (Angola ) for Africa, and Stellan Kinberg ( Sweden ) for Pacific, as the Society had no members in this area.

Fiscal year 2000

  • NOK 702,250 received by Kidlink Insitute/Education from The Ministry of Church and Education (Norway) flag to develop the I have a dream program. 

  • Kidlink Insitute/Education contributed NOK 122,899.

  • The Kidlink Society's Annual Meeting of the started on May 18, 2000, and continued through July 30. Hannah Sivan, Israel flag was reelected as Board Member for Asia until 2003. As the Society had no members from Pacific, the Board appointed Oscar Becerra, Peru flagto represent this area for one year.

  • Sponsor contributions received from The Ministry of Church and Education (Norway) flag, The Department of Education (Puerto Rico) flag, The Ministry of Education (Denmark) , NLS (Norway) flag, and The Ministry of Education (Slovenia) flag.
  • Kidlink Insitute/Education contributed NOK 123,307.66.
  • The 1999 internal management was held in Puerto Rico .
  • Kidlink Institute/Education completed development of the Who-Am-I? program, and developed a Who-Am-I? workshop for teachers and schools' technology facilitators funded by The Norwegian Ministry of Education. flag

Fiscal year 1998

  • North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND, USA , and Center for Academic Technologies, University of Cincinnati Cincinnati, Ohio, USA , continues to provide comprehensive central network support.
  • A total of NOK 504,879.53 was raised in support of an internal Kidlink management development conference in Lima, Peru . The Ministry of Education in the country was the largest contributor (NOK 264,565). Other major supporters include The Ministry of Education in Denmark , The Saami Educational Council (Norway) flag, CNPQ (Brazil ), CEC (Japan ), S.E.M.C.T. (Brazil ), and NLS (Norway flag).
  • The Ministry of Education in Norway flag supports Kidlink with NOK 75,000 in cash.
  • Dr. Marisa Lucena donated royalty income from her book about Kidlink to Stiftelsen.
  • Development of the multi-lingual Kidlink Who-Am-I? program, which had a budget of NOK 1,327,952, was sponsored by Nasjonalt læremiddelsenter (Norway flag), Skolverket (Sweden ), The Ministry of Education (Denmark ), The Ministry of Education (Norway flag), and Microsoft Norway flag.

Fiscal year 1997

  • Kidlink receives a DEC Prioris XL 5133 Pentium 133-Mhz from L-Soft International Inc.
  • The Danish Ministry of Education supports a Kidlink international meeting in Copenhagen with DEK 50,000, and a major public conference with 75,000. The latter event was also supported by the European Commission, DG XXII - Education, Training, Youth (Netd@ys Europe 1997) . Various organizations, mainly in Brazil , supports key managers' travel expenses for the meetings.
  • The Ministry of Education in Norway flag supports Kidlink with NOK 75,000 in cash.
  • The newly established Kidlink Institute/Education has NOK 58,195 in revenues.
  • Mr. Hans Svedbergh, Norway flag, pays Kidlink's auditors fee, and Danville/Sycamore Valley Rotary, USA , supports Odd de Presno's Kidlink presentation at Inet '97 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
