Hello Spencer and Fabio,
This week in "Who am I?" we are talking about "What do I want to be when
I'm older?". Maybe you'd like to tell each other what you want to be. That
sounds like fun, doesn't it!
best wishes,

Hi,
My name is Adam. I am 7. I go to school at home. I live in Bluffton
SC.
I got my middle name (Taylor)because dad's friend's last name was Taylor.
My mom wanted to make that my first name but my dad disn't like it. So my
mom picked Adam for my first name because I liked it. And Taylor was my
middle name.
The things that I like are: riding bikes, roller blading, hot dogs,
reading, playing with my friend Orlando, and my brother Greg.
My last name is Miller. I think that maybe one of my dad's grandparents
were a miller.... they grind grain between mill stones. My mom's last is
Hartman. I think her dad must have fixed people's hearts. My sister thinks
he was a doctor. We all think that Taylor must have made clothes for people.
My pop-pop went to a farm to grow up. He had to go help my great
grandfather because he didn't have anyone to help him.
My mom showed me pictures of her great-great-grandparents. They are on
cardboard, they had to sit still for a very long time. The babies are all in
big dresses and so are the girls. They were in Danville, Pennsylvania.
We have a cat and a dog. Duchess is the cat because she tries to be as
fancy as she can. Mason is the dog. He already had his name, but we think he
used to work with bricks.
We talked about names for Pets. You could call a bird Tweety, but not a
dog or cat, and you couldn't call a bird whiskers!!
your friend,
Adam Miller
Note from mom..... sorry this is so long, we are trying to catch up!!
Thanks!
Hello Adam,
Welcome to the "Who am I?" project. Now you've caught up with the first
part of the project, we're going to talk about "What do I want to be when
I'm older?". Are you going to be a Miller or a doctor like your ancestors?
Or something completely different?
Maybe you'd like to tell us what it's like being home-schooled. We have
students from all over the world here and some of them haven't met a
homeschooler before. You don't have to tell us if you think it's a nosy
question;)
best wishes,

I don't have classmates here. So I made a collage of who I am.
This is what I like, my family, my favorite things, and where I live.
You asked what it was like to homeschool. It is fun. I am going to learn how
to make pizza on friday. I learned how to make ice cream already. Sometimes
my whole family teaches me. Sometimes just my mom. It's cool.
I will write again soon
Adam.
