Welcome to KIDLINK and the "Who am I?" program. It is wonderful to see students from Poland in our projects. Are you in school at this time of year? My school is closed until September though a part of it, our "Year Round" school, will open next week. Many students on the KIDWAI list are not in school now.

Students in South America are participating in the "Who Am I?" program on the KIDWAILA-ENGLISH list. Would you like to join them there? DEAR Patti We thank you for your message.We want to correspond with your Global Classroom. We have seen your page on the Internet. This page is very ineresting. You and your class establish ineresting contacts.We have holiday now but in our free time we are preparing a schedule for internet projects for the next semester (beginning in September) with our teacher.

We have lately seen an interesting project on the internet. It is called InterLink and it helped schools from Britain and New Zealand to estabish partnership during school year. The topics for disscussion seem very ineresting and involving - local myths and legends, a day in life, places to see, differences in prices etc. You can check it for yourself:http://www.interlink.org.nz/projects/project1.html Could our schools estabish a similar partnership? We hope that at least 50 students aged 10 - 15 will be interested in talking to Delmar School.

We're so glad to see you here. Welcome! Our school won't start again until September 7th when the students return. My classes will take part in the "Who Am I?" program at that time. We hope you will continue to write to us then.

Peru is a beautiful country. I visited Lima, Machu Picchu and Cuzco last August. It was a fantastic trip. I have never been to Poland though some day I hope I can go there especially to see my relatives.
