Student Participations The Kidlink Who-Am-I? Program |
Hello teachers and students,
Next week in "Who am I?" we're going to talk about "How would I want the
world to be better when I'm older?"
There are some lesson ideas here:
http://www.kidlink.org/kie/nls/english/response/vision.html
Maybe you want to think about the environment - what we can do to make the
world cleaner and nicer. Or maybe you'd like to tell us how you'd stop
poverty. How can you change the world by walking to school? How can you
make the world a better place by changing what you eat?
Maybe you want to ask some grownups how the world is better than when they
were in school. When I was a little girl there was an illness called
smallpox. Millions of people died from it, some people didn't die but they
got horrible scars on their faces. Now that sickness is gone! Amazing!
Clever doctors and scientists all over the world worked together and now
smallpox doesn't exist any more. I think that makes the world a better
place, don't you?
best wishes,
Liz Exton
