I want to introduce myself:

My name is Esperanza de las Mercedes Sepulveda Estrada. My nickname is Epi. I'm a teacher and will be here for this next weeks with all of you to have fun with this project.
My name is in spanish. In english Esperanza means Hope and Mercedes means Mercy. In our culture we get our father last name (Sepulveda) and our mother's last name (Estrada)
I was named after my two grandmothers (abuelas in spanish). When I was growing up, it was difficult for me to spell my name. All my life it has been difficult to fit my complete name in forms. My friends shortened my name to Epi.
