The World - A Better Place in the Future - "Settling Differences" from Littie Dent Marshall School, Maryland and Italy

When my family and I have an argument, we find a way both sides get what they want(compromise). I would like the government and other people getting along more, also less people would die when countries get along. That is what I want the world to be like when I grow up.

If you are fighting over a vacation or something even bigger then you can compromise and meet each other halfway. Or you can weigh the pros and cons, to make it easier to choose. Or you can take a vote on where you are going to go. Those are some of my opinions over a family fight. These can help countries by the fact that they could work things out and then we would not have more wars and are population would not go down so much.

A way we solve problems in my family is by compromising. We use a little of each opinion. For example, my dad wants me to dress like every day is church. But I like to wear loose pants, and big shirts. We fixed this problem by, me wearing a type of dress sock, and nice shirts. I also got to dress in the same pants, and design on my shirt I like to wear. It can be hard in some cases of getting a problem fixed up.

Hello Kristien, thank you for the e- mail. We are Silvia and Roberta. At first time we want to ask you if you are a boy or a girl, because in Italy your name isn't usually. We solve problem in us families by talking about the problem. For example, us mums don't want us to go with us friends every day. So we talk with us mums and we decide with them the hours for the return at home. So we can go, and they are quiet. We solve ou problems!
