Hi! We are the fourth grade PACE students at Lettie Marshall Dent Elementary in Maryland. We have been discussing what jobs we would like to have when we grow up and what business we would like to start, if we could. We decided to start a "Kid's Place" which is a place for children to go to play games, eat, have fun, be entertained and see things on exhibit. The following jobs would be necessary for our business:

Manager: Makes sure that all employees do their job, oversees all decisions, makes the schedule, provides for the safety of the customer, employees, and building

Chef: Prepares all food and is in charge of all kitchen workers, items, and supplies. Orders all kitchen supplies

Cashier: Runs the cash register, takes care of the game tokens the children cash in, and gives out prizes

Game Supervisor: Makes sure everyone is fairly playing the game, makes sure all games are working properly, watches for children's safety

Nurse: Takes care of any sick or injured children

Curator: In charge of the museum part of the "Kid's Place", gives tours, tells about the items on exhibit

Custodian: Maintains the clean environment needed to keep children healthy
