My vacation on Bali

Me and my fammily have been on Bali, Indonesia we where there there for 2 weeks and it was very hot. On Bali its very cheap to live, so I bought a lot of things. On Bali there are a lot of monkeys and I had one on my shoulder. I tried something called "Paintball" : you are dressed like a soldier and have to shoot the other soldiers with paintballs. There were other parks called "Bali adventure". There you could ride on a big elephant or try the "River rafthing" where you have to raft on the bigest river on Bali.

I was in Venice, when I was ten years old. My family and my self should go to Greece, and we drove from Denmark through Germany, Austria, Italy, and when we came to Venice, we just spend one day, but it fell like a year. First we met some friends,- we should sleep in their tent. When we had put our things in the tent, we went to the beach. The water was so blue! After the siesta we went to the town. There were so many canals with gondolas in. I am sorry, that we didnīt sail with one of there. When we woke up in the morning, should went to my dadīs family in Greece (Corfu). We went by a big ferry, and it was our turn to Venice stopped.

My first tour.

Yes!!! I've just talked with our conductor Ebbe Munk, and he had told me that I was going on a tour to HONG KONG with the choir. I was very happy, and I felt like I was in heaven. Nothing could ruin my happiness. The reason we were going to sing in Hong Kong was: The Lutheran Wold Federation had a 50 years jubilee.

Finally the day came I had waited for. It was the July the seventh, and I was on my way to the airport. I was very nervous. I met my friends in the airport, and I said good bye to my parents. We talked a little and then we went into one of the many shops where we bought some candy for the long flight. We were going to be in the airport for a while because our airplane was delated. My friends and I went to our gate. When we finally sat in the airplane and had take off, there was at great mess about who was going to sit next to whom. I ended up sitting next to one of my friends Erik and his friend Jonas. I liked sitting beside them, but not in the evening when we where going to sleep, because they made a lot of noise and couldn't sleep. Just before we landed, I was told that we were going to a place called OCEAN PARK, it was like a Fun fair.

We landed safely in Hong Kong it was very hot. There was no doubt about we were in Asia. I was going to live with a Danish hostfamily together with three of my friends. We lived in a very luxurious 4 store apartment. We drove in a very nice car with leather seats and aircondition. Finally a place that was cool! For a moment I thought of my families old B.M.W. at home. What a difference! After an hour we were all going to Ocean Park. When we got there, we couldn't see the rest of the choir, so we went into the park. When we had walked about half an hour, we met the rest of the choir and had a great time. When we had been in Ocean Park for three wonderful hours, our leaders decided to go into WATER WORLD, because everybody was very hot and swet a lot. In Water Wold there were many big and long roller coasters. 13 to be precise. I tried them all, except 2 of them, they were too wild for me.

When we got home, we were going to have pizza for dinner. Ummm! I love pizza. That night I slept very well, because I was very tired after a long day. The next day we were going to shop with our hostfamily. My 3 friends and I all bought a T-shirt and some of us also a Jadedragon. That day there was a lot of people on the marked and we decided not to buy more. We were also going to rehears that day, and we were a little late. We haven't ate lunch yet, so our hostfamily invited us for lunch in a little restaurant. An hour later the rehearsal started and we made it just in time. The 3 hour long rehearsal was a success and it looked to be a very good concert. After the rehearsal my 3 other roommates and I were going to eat dinner with some of the other boys from the choir and their hostfamilies. We all went to Mc Donalds where we ate all we could and much more.

When I woke up that morning, I was aware that this was going to be our big day, because it was the day where we were going to sing in Hong Kong Conventioncenter. I was very nervous. Before we were going to sing, we rehearsed for 2 long boring hours. And then at last the ceremony began. I thought it was very boring, because I couldn't understand what the priests were saying, but it all went very well, and afterwards people came and said hello and wanted to take pictures of us. Afterwards we were going to eat at a fine restaurant with some of the people and sing to a private party. It was not one of the most funny days, but after all it was very interesting.

It was Monday, and it was our last day in Hong Kong. We were going to see some piratecaves on a small island called Cheung Chau. There was no cars or busses, so we had to walk 4 kilometres, it was very hard because it was very hot and moisture, and we told a lot of jokes so the time went fast. At last we got there and then we went trough the caves, and went back to the little village. We hadn't got any water so we hurried back to the village, because we were all very thirsty. When we finally got there all the stores were closed except one, so we had to use many Hong Kong dollars on water that day.

Then the sad day came. We were going back to Denmark. I woke up early to pack all my things and eat breakfast. An hour later I stood in the airport with my things and said good bye to my hostfamily. I only bought a tankard for my father. When the air plane toke off I felt sad, because I might never see Hong Kong and our nice hostfamily again.

When the airplane landed in Copenhagen again we all met a big crowd of happy parents, and after all it was good to be back.
