Dear Lizabeth, Jennifer and Amber,
Thanks for writing! I think you've all made a good start with your roots.
The next thing to do is find out when your brothers and sisters were born.
Were they all born in the same place as you? Who is the oldest person in
your family? Can you find out where they were born?
Amber, it was a good idea to see what else was happening on the day you
were born. Maybe you want to find out what happened on the same day in
other years too. Or maybe someone famous shares your birthday.
Talking about "our roots" doesn't just have to be about when we were born
and where we're from. There are lots of other things that make us who we
are too, don't you think?
Liz
Dear Kids, My brother was born on November 15, 1994. My sister was born on
September 29, 1985. She was born the same day but two years apart. They
were born in Salisbury. My grandmother is the oldest person I know. My
gradmother was born in Georgia. She was born in 1928. I think that your
sense of humer is part and how you get along with others.
