* What Are My  Rights?
Student Participation

The Kidlink Who-Am-I? Program
*

Hi there,

This week's topic is "The Right to be Me". Hmmm... I wonder what that means.

I think it means that I have these rights:
- the right to an education appropriate to my needs.
- the right to equal pay for equal work.- the right to have any religion I want.

You can probably think of a lot more. But .... what if my "right to be me" gets in the way of your "right to be you"? Some people have racist beliefs. But if you believe that some people are "better" than others, doesn't that stop those other people from using their "right to be me"?

What do you think? Where do your rights stop and my rights begin?

write soon,
