Kidlink in the Media and The KIDS-91 Newsletter

Using Meeting Results To Promote Causes

  1. Meeting minutes should contain: the venue ( mailing list name, chat channel name, KidSpace Community name) ; time of the meeting; topic discussed; participants (nicknames and countries); results and conclusions; agreed action (who has agreed to do what when)
  2. Send meeting minutes to Odd de Presno. Ask to have them posted on the web:
  3. Challenge your students to send an announcement of the minutes to KidCom's Kidcafe rooms.
  4. Let your students review the ideas in the "Make society pay attention to what you think!" page of each issue's track. For an example of these pages, click here. Contents across tracks are rather similar.
  5. Send information to Kidlink's newsletter
  6. Challenge them to send a press release to local media, and talk with journalists. Discuss whether a follow-up meeting is needed.
