Making The Announcement
By Florencina from Uruguay
|
| When we have agreed on the contents, look,
and feel of the invitation, it will be announced under "Latest News" at
the kids' portal.
If the chat is clearly related to an
"Making Our World Better"
track, the announcement will also be made on the first page of the given
track, as well as at the track's chat page.
If it helps? No guarantees! Besides, it may also have other effects: Zeeshan's April 2004 invitation for a chat on "racism and war" caught the attention of Net Happenings, widely read by an international audience. Click to see what they "wrote". The purpose of each debate must be well defined: to inform, to explain, to interpret, to defend a point of view, to negotiate collaboration, to inspire collaboration, to criticise, to motivate some action. Ideas for the agenda:
Tell your students to find a a topic for the debate that others out there are likely to find interesting. If they fail to do this, they risk being alone in their meeting rooms. Ask them for ideas about how to find such a topic. Next page: Who Should We Invite? |
