Directory and file names
| Do not
translate directory and file names! Our web is integrated across languages.
Using other names increases the risk of link errors and inconsistencies,
makes it more difficult for web authors and translators to
include translated
links.
Example: At least 14 pages at /english/general/ with subdirectories, six pages at /kie/waila/, three pages at /kie/nls/, and four pages in the Who-Am-I? lesson plans and workshop have links to /english/general/response.html. The pages at /english/general/ have many links to pages in the same directory, and to our educational program directories. Visitors to our web site rarely report link errors!
