Finding Translated Pages

Do not change links assuming that a translation exists!
Double check if you are using a correct
file name when linking to a translated page.

Use relative web addresses!

André (12), Brazil , 1997

There are two practical methods:
  1. The link check method. Fastest if you are comfortable about working at the html coding level.
  2. The dirinfo method. Visual check against dirinfo.html index pages.

If the translated pages your page is supposed to link to are not available, report this to your language area's manager providing: the address of the page, address of the document you are trying to link from, and request that you be told whenever the page has been translated.

Note: Adding or subtracting links from translated pages requires approval of Kidlink's Executive Director.
