If you are to send your
translation to someone to be posted, this is what they'd typically be
checking first:

Do images
on the translated page show?
Otherwise, it indicates
that the source page was not stored correctly on the translator's disk, and
that some links may also be incorrect.
See help files for users of:
Composer,
Frontpage,
MS World,
Dreamweaver.

Are all
links provided as full URLs, or as correct relative addresses?
Usually, it is best to receive
them as full URLs as in this example:
http://www.kidlink.org/english/general/intro.html
. Now, a simple search/replace is all it takes to make all addresses relative.
In this example, the relative address is
/english/general/intro.html

If the
page has links to pages that already have been translated,
are links changed to
reflect this?
Checking
all links is always a good idea.
