Posting Documents And Files

Click at "Add document" (bottom button), and an "Add/Edit document" window will open.

  1. Type a title for your document. This title will appear on the list of documents, so make sure it is easy to understand.
  2. You may add a category (whatever you want) to make it easier for others in the room to find it among many documents
  3. If your document is a web page on the web, include the link here. Note: You cannot add a description if you are adding a link!
  4. If you want to write the contents yourself, type it in the "Contents" box. If you are typing a long document, click "Large document window" (bottom button) to make the text window larger. Click "Small document window" to get back to the standard KidCom setting. Note: Your document will not display clickable links.
  5. Click at "Upload image/drawing" if you want to post a file. Note: Unappropriate files will be deleted!
  6. Click "Save" to make your document available to others.

Any time, you may delete or edit your document.

If your document is an external page that has changed, you can update the date in the listing of files by clicking edit (by the file name at the upper right), then "Save" without changing anything else.

Web developers: Documents and images are only available to KidCom users that have an active session. You cannot link to these documents and images from outside web pages.
