On the pages you create for you language
area, you may pretty much select the layout you like. However, if you want
your pages not to differ too much from the "look and feel" of the general
introductory pages, this is what you may consider to do:
-
This page does not use style sheets, frames,
Javascript, or Java. People using old web browsers will be able to read it
fully. Also, remember that many people use Open Source software (Linux, etc),
Macintosh, and handheld computers (very small displays).
-
If your page is for kids, make them
colorful,
fun, and illustrate them with art made
by children in Kidlink.
-
The general introductory pages uses <FONT
face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"> for headings, while the
body of the text uses the default font selected by the user. This must be
set specifically as the defaul text usually is Times Roman on most computers.
-
Set size of the characters in the body
of the page to 10 points. Use 18 points for heading.
-
Many people hate scrolling. Keep your
pages short!
