These guidelines are guidelines, and not The Law. This is just what we'd like you to do to hopefully make our pages more recognizable as Kidlink pages. They will hopefully make them look a bit more professional, and contribute to support better what we are trying to do. We want Kidlink's web pages to pass on a friendly and colorful community of volunteers working on empowering kids around the world. So, when you create webpages for kids, remember that visual appearance, language, and text must be attractive to young persons. Title: Though a web page's <TITLE> may not be important when reading the page, it is very important for those searching with Google, and other search engines! Your title is the text that will appear boldfaced on search engines' hit lists. All <TITLE>s should start with the word: "Kidlink" like on this page. It has "Kidlink: Web Design Guidelines" as its title Next page: Illustrations |
