Language Management

The process of starting up a new Kidlink language area includes:
  • Publishing user information in your language
  • Open KidCom conferences for collaboration and sharing between those interested in activities in your language. Both for adults and kids. (more...)
  • Working with kids and youth in your language using our educational offerings

Even though Kidlink has many educational offerings, it will take years to build active participation by educators, kids, and others for collaboration, sharing, publishing, and social activities.

The Language Coordinator's responsibilities include:

  • invite others to participate in Kidlink using your language
  • support teachers, kids, and other users in their language area, act in a support/mentor capacity, and build active participation by users.
  • recruit, and coordinate volunteer helpers (includes translators)
  • be part of Kidlink's private room for managers to share experiences, learn, collaborate
  • administer KidCom rooms, web space, mailing lists, and other resources made available for your language area
  • organize approval of answers to Kidlink's four questions and student works in your language
