Using Kidlink And
The Internet Like
An Encyclopedia

Most teachers start on the Internet by looking up web pages, and by sending email to colleagues and friends. What a revolution this is! What excitement!

Everything seems to be there, but how to find it? Imagine, Kidlink alone has over 100.000 pages in a myriad of languages, and our conference repositories offer tons of information.

Try the following to find information around Kidlink

  • Bookmark the teachers' home page.
  • In KidCom, select "Tracking" of rooms you are interested to be told whenever new information has been posted.
  • Use Search at the bottom of our web pages.
  • Check Who-Am-I?'s resource pages for leads to resources (on the teacher menus for each module).
  • When searching Kidlink on Google, include  "site:kidlink.org" with your search terms.
    Example:
    site:kidlink.org curriculum
  • Use the mailing lists' browse page to find information in the archives.
