Kidlink's conferences take place in KidCom meeting rooms or by electronic mail using a technology known as mailing lists (also, discussion lists, or Listserv). A mailing list is simply a list of all participants' names and email addresses used to distribute messages to the members of a conference.

Each mailing list has a unique name, and this name is also the name of the conference. Examples: Kidspace-Coord, and Kidcafe-Individual.

On the following pages you will learn How to join a conference ; How to join the discussion ; About participation rules ; Practical email hints ; If they cannot subscribe ; If they receive no replies! ; How to signoff; More practical hints .
