Teacher Ora Baumgarten in Jerusalem, Israel won the "Recanati-Chais-Rashi Prize for Teachers with Initiative" for her school site, an English teaching site, and projects including the Kidlink projects she has created, developed, and moderated: "What Does My First Name Mean?" and "Time Machine."

Odd de Presno, Kidlink's Executive Director, was awarded with the annual prize for adults by the International Children Culture Week in Arendal, Norway in recognition of his work with Kidlink. June, 2005.

Volunteer Anne-Tove Vestfossen received the Hans Christian Ostrø's Memorial Award (Oslo, Norway ) for her life-long work as artist and art coordinator promoting communication and collaboration across age and cultures, focusing on her current work as manager of Kidlink's KidArt. - Photos.
  The 2001–02 SIGTel Online Learning Awards , recognizes "Kidlink Day in Kidlink's KidSpace, a Place for Kids to Publish and Share" as an exemplary telelearning activity, giving the Awards of Special Merit - "The Cyber Golden Hearts". The Online Learning Award is sponsored by the Special Interest Group Telelearning (SIGTel) of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), and is judged by an international panel.
In December 2000, The Global Junior Challenge awarded Kidlink the 1st prize in the category "Educational projects for users up to 18 years old" in competition with 600 educational projects from around the world. The jury consisted of educators from Argentina, Australia, Cameroon, China, Colombia, Egypt, Estonia, the European Commission, Germany, Israel, Italy, Maldives, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, United Kingdom, and USA.

The Global Bangemann Challenge Award

Our site won - The Global Bangemann - contest in the category "IT in all forms of Education"! Mr. Odd de Presno received our trophy from the King of Sweden in the Nobel Hall in Stockholm on Wednesday June 9th, 1999.
