Kidlink In Jordan

Since 2005, Kidlink has provided life skills training of girls through schools in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The project supports Jordan's curriculum guidelines by letting students use ICTs to communicate ideas, solve problems, collaborate with peers living in other places. Contributes to peace.

The project includes translation into Arabic, development of connections between Jordan's national curriculum guidelines and our educational programs for math, English, science, social science (The 4 registration questions, and Who-am-I?), provision of computer equipment to schools (laptops, scanners, web cameras), training of teachers in the use of our programs, support of teachers' work in their classes, and research to measure the actual effects of their students' participation in the program compared with a control group of non-participants.

Sample student works:

The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) funds the project.
