| A Right is for defending
and elder, child, etc. We have many rights. Like the right to have a home,
right to have a family, right to be treated well, like a human being. Many
times in many fairs and markets, children are not taken seriously specially
by the women selling their products. They think we can't buy anything and
we are only wasting their time when we ask about something. In our country,
people must take in consideration that all children have rights and duties.
Adults must see that those rights are respected.

In my country we have many children that work.
They work shining shoes, selling candy, and other. They buy things for themselves
and their family. In my country we have laws that say children should not
work. But the laws are not enforced. I think that children should not work.
Angel from Bolivia
We should respect the rights of others because
all persons have their own thoughts and ideas, their own feelings, their
own likes and dislikes, all deserve respect, all are free to choose what
they want and what is better for them. I, Jimena, choose to study, to be
a lady, to be nice, to be a friend, to have dignity, to be responsible, to
be civilized.....I choose to be a good person.
Jimena from Bolivia
We demand respect for the elders, respect for
our feelings, the love of our parents, live with dignity, live without abuse
and violence, better education for all, no more strikes and blockages, we
demand respect for our rights.
Juana from Bolivia
