Kidlink In Your Language?
Step Six: Get Going!

You're now "in business," so it is time to recruit more volunteers to increase the value for participants. Here are some suggested steps to take:
  • Recruit more helpers who speak your language living in other countries. Kidlink's User Support may need someone who can speak the language..
  • Translate all the web pages in the www.kidlink.org/english/general/ directory
  • Involve kids in the web enhancement work to make it a more warm, welcoming introduction to your youth area.
  • Document what goes on in your language on the web site, and make sure to include teacher testimonials (classroom "war stories"). Add hints and experiences found on other equivalent Kidlink pages in other languages.
  • Cooperate with other Kidlink teams to build bridges across language and cultural barriers. Organize joint projects with these teams.
  • Consider including your language in the Who-am-I? program.

Over time, you will get all these exciting completed projects, result reports, experiences. It is never to early to start thinking about a future history sub-page on your web. A page that people can click into to learn from the past within your area.
