Kidlink In Your Language?
Bringing In The Kids

Announce It!

Create a page that "sells" it to youth visitors. Make it an exciting, friendly, multi-media to support what goes on in your cafe. Ideas include:
  • Provide good examples of things that has been said (quotes), or topics discussed there.
  • Give your Kidcafe kids web space to build multi-media support regarding their discussions.
  • Challenge your Kidcafe kids to decorate the page so that more kids speaking your language want to join. They will have plenty of ideas about how to make these pages colorful and inviting. Use children computer art to bring life to the pages, but don't make them too heavy.
  • If you are using KHelpers like they do in our Portuguese and Spanish language areas, consider posting pictures of them, and a short friendly, personal presentation.

Consider if you want one page for students and one that invites individual kids in. Consider using a set of short sub-pages so that even those with slow net connections can read them.
